OH MY!

It's been so long since I posted anything here.  I think about it but get onto something else and it's quickly forgotten.

I love being married to Rolan.  He is the kindest most loving man.

We have settled into the "new normal" quite well.  Angelina loves school and has a great teacher in Mrs. Murphy.  Rolan's work schedule has been Sunday and Monday off but is changing starting next week.  He will have every other Saturday off.  So it will be Saturday, Sunday off, work Tuesday thru Saturday then have Sunday, Monday off.  Work Tuesday thru Friday and have Saturday, Sunday off.  It will take some getting used to but it will be nice to have every other weekend that we can all be together.  Being a "house mouse" is nice but I've been looking for a part-time job, I need to get out.

I took a "little things" sewing class at the quilt shop in Palo Cedro.  It was fun.  My goal in  the next year is to make a quilt.  We'll see how that goes.

Moved, Married, 'Moonin

Moved to Millville a couple weeks ago.  Married on the 21st :)  Honeymooning in SoCal with Angelina.  Fulfilling a promise to take her to Disneyland when she was 7 years old.  She's been bugging about it since October.  We are having a great time.  Got to see Danni & Peter and the girls lastnight.

Rolan & I will take a couple day "honeymoon" to Medford, OR.  I know, Medford isn't the usual honeymoon destination, but there's a story and it's just something we feel compelled to do. 

Oh how I love my husband.  Oh how I love my life.

Moving Weekend

It's moving weekend.  I'm driving to Millville in the morning to pick up Rolan, we'll pick up the truck in Portola in the afternoon.  Loading Saturday, going home on Sunday.  :)

Amazing

God did have something "truly amazing" in mind for us.  The house we talked to and prayed on didn't happen, but what God had in mind is even better.

Talking to the House

Talking to the house, praying on the house.  I know, it sounds crazy.  Rolan found a house that is just perfect for us.  He's sent me pictures and sketch of the floor plan.  It's going through a little remodle and clean up and of course Rolan is the flooring guy.  The owner doesn't know what he wants to do with it, rent it, sell it....  Rolan tried to negotiate a lease and in about a year we would just buy it.  We've prayed for God to show Rolan where we should live and feel that this is it.  If not, God has something really "incredible" in mind for us. Talking to the house and praying.

Gratitude

I'm thankful for Angelina.  She is so loving and joyful, smart and funny and makes every day special.  Angelina keeps me on my toes. She asks the toughest questions sometimes.  Most recently she asked, "If God made everything, the sun, moon, stars, all the plants, animals and people, who made God?"

She never forgets anything.  Like when she was 3 I told her I'd take her to Disneyland when she was 7, so  Rolan and I will be spending our honeymoon at Disneyland.  What a better than our "new family" to spend it together.

So Far....

Not so good.  Between exercising and falling at work, I've been so sore I could barely move.  I haven't made a lot of progress yet but I will not give up.   My hips are out of whack so I'll go see Dr. Amanda and get adjusted one day this week which will help,.

Gratitude

I'm grateful for Mom and Papa.  They have given so much to help me with Angelina.  I'd have had a rough time of things without them.
